Joseph Latch

Joseph J. Latch was born on February 22nd, in Philadelphia, PA. He was a longtime resident of Glendora, NJ, who unexpectedly passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 65 years. Devoted husband of Jeanette Latch (Schroeder). Beloved father of Colleen DiSandro (Mike), Jennifer Saunders, Joseph Latch (Jennifer), and Robert Latch (fiancée, Alli DiCarlo). Proud grandfather of Lily Saunders, Rosabelle DiSandro, Ella Latch, and Everly Latch. Loving brother of Robert Latch (Anna), Michael Latch (Patricia), the late Margaret O’Connell (George, surviving), and Ann Stohr. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

One of Joe’s most significant accomplishments was being a loving husband. Joe and Jeanette recently celebrated their 44th Wedding anniversary. Their love was remarkable and one of a kind. Their unconditional love was something that was admired and envied. The countless memories they made together will always be cherished. The couple’s hearts will be forever entwined. He was truly a blessing and a gift to Jeanette.

Above all else, Joe treasured his family. He enjoyed going on family vacations and spending time with those he loved. He was a fantastic father. Joe was a pillar of strength and support for his children. Joe instilled values, kindness, and character in his children and encouraged and nurtured each child’s different personality. He was always there for his family through their ups and downs and taught them to enjoy every moment life offered. He went through life with a fun-loving and witty sense of humor that was infectious to all. Joe’s face would light up whenever he was around his granddaughters. They were his pride and joy. He never missed a sports game, dance recital, birthday party or even a chance to get a hug. He was so proud of them and their good nature.

Joe worked for many years as a sales representative for Ward Trucking and previously at APA transport. He worked hard and enjoyed the interactions with his bosses, colleagues and customers. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and loved watching the game with his sons. Go Birds! He was always compassionate towards all animals and especially loved his dog, Murphy. Joe was a rock and gentle at the same time. He had a great sense of humor, a heart of gold, and “the patience of a saint.” He leaves behind many loved ones and a great legacy.
