This webinar will cover the history of stem cell transplants, current clinical practices across the globe, and the future of cell therapies.
The MDS Foundation will be joined by Dr. Andrew Kent, an Associate Professor in the hematology/oncology division at the University of Colorado. Dr. Kent completed his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Chicago, his MD and PhD training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, and his internal medicine residency and heme/onc fellowship training as part of the Physician Scientist Training Program at the University of Colorado. Aside from treating MDS and AML patients, with particular focus on stem cell transplants, he is active in translational research and phase I clinical trials focused on developing new immunologic and cellular therapies for myeloid diseases.
